Meet some of the dogs....

Max's Story

Max is a rescue dog who's owners brought us in to help settle him in and re-enforce some basic training. A typical Springer he is full of energy and loves to run, as well as being a little bonkers! Following his successful integration into family life we have continued to visit weekly to take him out on walks to burn off some of that spaniel energy.

Dotty's Story

Dotty is a very special dog - a Glen Of Imaal terrier - a "big dog on short legs", the Glen is actually a dwarf breed from Ireland and very rare to see. Her owners brought us in to visit and walk her whilst they work, as well as help socialise her and give some basic training. Glens need a firm handling as they have a stubborn streak but are easy going and well tempered. Dotty just loves everyone and is quick to greet both people and dogs with equal enthusiasm.

Timmy's Story

Timmy's elderly owner brought us in to walk him whilst she was recovering from an operation. He was very timid and frightened of other dogs, loud noises, children, passing vehicles - in fact almost everything! Whilst out on his walks we have helped overcome his fears with positive encouragement, as well as building up his walking distance. He loves going out now and greets us with such excitment it is a pleasure to take him out.

Bobby's Story

Like many pet greyhounds Bobby was an ex-racer abandoned to a charity rescue centre. His current owner has loving cared for him and he is in great shape now. Greyhounds make super pets but need care when walking - they just love to chase (especially cats!) - and his owner brought us in to take him for a walk on her days out for controlled and careful exercise.
